I was about to ask if anyone else was running slow. It's very sluggish...makes it frustrating.

it's running very slow and "sticky" making it hard to navigate and it keeps opening another website, juegos de escape or something like that...I guess I'm hitting odd hotspots...grrrr

Oh, that was a quick one! The most annoying thing was a link to another site that opened several times when I clicked on random objects.

@Liz, you need a key to open the chest. The fuel is in there. Solve the colors below a cupboard to open it - the clue is on a painting.

Hi Millie, it seems everyone else is out except me...lol. Having navigation issues - the game's not playing nice with me.
I'm clicking everywhere and there are lots of hotspots which open a new tab - game adverts. That's really annoying. Do you have the same problem?
Hi @Claudia! On the first view I got there by clicking on the "pipe" to the fireplace. On the view with the color code cupboard and ladder i got there when clicking on the note with numbers.

Hi Claudia, it happened to me on that same paper, on one of the paintings, and on the flu/chimney of the stove.
I'm with you Millie. Started out fine, now it seems I can't do anything. Have a book I don't know what to do with, not sure why I started a fire and don't know how to open the door. I can't pick up anything else it seems and I'm afraid to click around anymore because of the hotspots.
WALKTHROUGH
Take the wood by the chest.
Note the shapes and colors in the window.
Turn right.
Take the middle book from the shelf.
Open the drawer and get a hammer.
Click on the four squares on the big box to change them.
Solve the code for a lighter.

Turn right.
Click on the three color palettes on the wall to turn them.
The cupboard above opens and you get a key.

Use the hammer on the wood in the lower right corner.
Get a ladder.
Turn right twice.
Use the key on the chest, get fuel.
Open the fireplace.
Put the wood there, add fuel, use the lighter, add the book.
Take a key from the fire.
Turn left.
Use the key on the door.
Use the ladder on the broken ladder.
Congratulations!

Yay!!! Finally!!! The book goes in the fire to get a key. Tried that several times before it "took". I'm OUT!!

@Danielle, you need to open the box with two balls on top. Use the clue in the window.
Btw, if you click and the new page opens by the link, just let it be open and you can click around wherever you like without any new pages opening.

I've opened the door with a red key and now there is a broken ladder in there... Does anybody know how to make the ladder?

Hello there. I have played it a couple of times, also with WT from Ellie. I can't get out! Did all the things and placed the ladder. No congrats here or "you've escaped". Is placing the ladder enough? If so, weird game.
@Catqueen, after placing the ladder outside the door, you should be able to click on it and get to the end screen. However, I just tried the game again, and I can't do it anymore either. I guess they removed that part at the same time as the links inside the game were removed.
